Not to be dramatic but Judith has literally saved my life by going the extra mile for my dogs. I have a malamute who was severely matted due to swimming and other puppy shenanigans and as this was my first long haired dog, I was uneducated on how to properly take care of him. Judith spent 36 total hours working on my dog and making him PERFECT again. I could cry. The whole team there is so helpful and well informed that they broke down exact care practices that I should follow to take care of my pup. I highly recommend HOTD for grooming and boarding. Pamela is a great communicator and is very caring with our elder girl Diva, both attributes which are key to me feeling better about leaving my beloved furkid with her. Judith is also exceptional at grooming our Portuguese Water Dog (and even referred me elsewhere when she left on vacation ... talk about professional!). Perhaps the thing that makes me love HOTD most is that my pup is HAPPY when I drop her off, she loves being there and her joy means I know they are treating her well.

Out of all the boarding places I've left our dog at, this is my favorite. The amount of detail and care they take is exceptional. I was a little skeptical at first being that we had never left our dog here before, but from the moment I dropped off my dog to the moment I picked her up the owner and staff were just so sweet. You can really tell they take pride in what they do and truly care about your pet. 10/10 recommend!

My dog had a great time at daycare this weekend! He was pampered by the employees, made some friends, went on walks, and even had some nap time. The facility is locally owned and operated and they treated my dog like their own. The facility is spotless and well stocked with beds, toys, and fresh water. Their extended hours allowed me to ski, enjoy apres and not have to worry about getting back or paying a premium. They are conveniently located at the Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino so just a short walk if you're staying in one of the hotels. I highly recommend this business!
